I have been trying to get a 600-3246-9 Charcoal Grate - Right (13 3/4 X 14 1/2) for over a year-every 6 weeks I am told it will be another 6 weeks. Ordered a replacement part for a charcoal grill the beginning of April. Here it is two months later and I have to call again to still find out the part will be on back order for another 6 weeks. The instructions for converting the Elite grill did not clearly identify that all that needed to be done was to take out the brass nozzles for propane. I bought a "conversion kit" at Home Depot which included additional brass nozzles - that I do not need but did not include "stop pins" that I do need. typical replacement grill parts to be ordered, it took 2 days for them to call me back (because their phone system is you call and leave a message, they call you back when they get to your number). DO NOT BUY A BRINKMANN BBQ!!! I bought one and it did not heat up. I contacted their "Customer Service" many times trying to find a solution. Oh my God, the words escape me for how to describe Brinkmann's horrible customer service!

I bought an expensive Brinkmann charcoal grill a few years ago. This grill constantly rusts or breaks, so I have to order part after part after part. This in itself is aggravating, but when you factor in Brinkmann's HORRIBLE customer service, the aggravation level reaches record heights. I ordered two replacement charcoal cooking grills for the 30" Trailmaster grill/smoker. Instead of the 14" X 15 1/4" replacements, they sent grills that were an inch too long. To get them to fit inside the smoker, I'd need to hacksaw an inch off of each grill. So I called customer service and he said that's all they had to offer. Brinkmann makes cheap products that don't hold up. If you expect any customer support or warranty, forget about it unless you have time to waste and wish to still lose out. Final personal experience with a gifted flashlight failure right out of the box led to futile telephone resolution and extended time related e mails. I disputed the charge for this order not only because the company did not ship the second item, but also in hope that they would contact me.
